This virtual workshop will empower you to finally be rid of the notion that the Bible condemns those who identify as LGBTQ.
UnClobber looks at the six verses in the Bible historically (mis)used as justification for anti-gay discrimination, and it reveals just how much the church has gotten these "clobber passages" wrong.
Sodom & Gomorrah
Explore this ancient story and discover just why these cities were destroyed. Spoiler: it wasn't about homosexuality.
Leviticus
For the last time, can we stop calling homosexuality "an abomination?" Yes please.
Romans & Corinithians
Saint Paul wrote some letters a long time ago and people have been misunderstanding them for centuries.
I'M COLBY.
In 2011 I was fired from my evangelical megachurch when they found out my theology now included an affirmation of LGBTQ people.
I wrote UnClobber in part to tell that story. How it was that a born-and-raised Baptist kid like myself discovered that the Church has gotten this topic wrong.
But I also wrote UnClobber because all LGBTQ people deserve to know that God loves them, that the Bible does not condemn them, and that they are beloved children of God just as they are.
In addition to writing the book, I've also created UnClobber Online Courses, and now I'm thrilled to start offering two-day, virtual workshops.
REGISTER"My living room was packed with dozens of Galileo Church’s people leaning forward, hungry for good news. Colby served up that gospel with generosity and good humor, and with a Bible he still believes in his hand. We gobbled it up and knew we had been loved — by God first and best, and now by God’s straight man Colby."

"“Colby doesn’t play it safe. He dives right into the deep end—into the scary, wonderful, messy truth of a grace free for all.”
